The 96 Cross-Cut Chisels are professional flat-oval cross-cut chisels designed for cutting grooves, channels and narrow sections in metal and other materials. They are manufactured from chrome-molybdenum-vanadium air-hardening steel 45CrMoV7 and are carefully hardened and tempered along their full length for strength and durability. The striking heads are induction-tempered to help prevent shattering, while the working edges are polished and clear varnished. The 96 range is manufactured according to DIN 6451.
