The 8340 Z-200 JL Mini Bolt Cutters are compact power bolt cutters designed to deliver high cutting performance with reduced effort. The optimized lever ratio and cutting action close to the joint provide excellent force multiplication, while the wear-free rotating/thrust bearing bolt helps reduce sliding friction during cutting.
The cutting edges are additionally induction-hardened to 63–65 HRC for long-lasting durability. Double-sided milling with an additional cutting edge near the joint provides improved leverage for larger wire diameters. The additional cutting edge acts as a pre-cutter for thick bolts, deeply notching the material before the front main cutting edge completes the cut.
The precision cutting edges are suitable for soft wire up to 6.0mm, hard wire up to 5.5mm and piano wire up to 3.8mm. The JL version has a steel-grey finish with 2-component handles.
