The 8316 Power Side Cutters are heavy-duty side cutters designed for efficient cutting with reduced effort. The American-pattern cutters feature a favourable lever action and an optimized interaction between the cutting geometry, eccentric rivet bearing and ergonomic handle design to provide high cutting performance. They are manufactured from GEDORE special hardened and tempered steel, drop-forged, oil-hardened and annealed. The cutting edges are inductively hardened to 63–65 HRC for long-lasting cutting performance. The 8316 range is manufactured according to DIN ISO 5749 and is suitable for cutting hard wire and piano wire. The 8316-200 JC version has a chrome-plated finish and 2-component handle covers.
