Rooting solutions are used to help stimulate rapid root growth for plant cuttings. Dip the lower end of the cutting into the rooting hormone solution, tap gently to remove any excess from the cutting and plant it in the chosen medium for growing.
Once the easy-to-use Dynaroot gel or powder is applied to the stem base, it seals the cut tissue, while providing hormones to promote root cell development and vitamins to protect the new tissue. Different concentrations of the gel and powder products are available and packaged separately, which are labelled 1, 2 or 3, corresponding with the following types of cuttings:
Dip & Root is a liquid hormone stimulator used to boost root growth. This rooting hormone is primarily used for the propagation of ornamental plants in gardens and landscaping, as well as for the propagation of fruit trees at a commercial level. To use Dip & Root, the liquid is diluted with water to make varying strengths, which can then be used for different types of plant cuttings:
